Recap 2021!
So, this is me with Blue aka Mr Blue! as I like to call him. Or, as I like to refer to him as 'Mr Blue Sky' - Who can guess the music reference, I wonder?!
I am so grateful to Larkrigg Riding School, Kendal for enabling me to learn to properly ride as an adult, again. From prior to partaking of more further education/retraining, and participating and graduating with a qualification in Equine Studies even, at Myerscough College, I started retraining here.
As a child I was fortunate to go on an occasional pony trek holiday whether it be an actual holiday or a relative's pony (down the 'pit'), I think maybe because I was in to my singing and dancing this was considered a holiday experience.
However, upon completing my retraining at Myerscough College, attaining a (City and Guilds) Level 2. in Equine Care I resumed my riding lessons training.
In 2021, following the passing of my best friend, my mum, I decided to further pursue some more lessons, for therapy.
Horses are renowned for enabling healing through therapy. Along with grief counseling, I found this process exceptionally helpful. (I recommend this: Contact Minds Matters for, any necessary, guidance.)
And, last but by no means beast (N.B. this is an intended typo!) Or least, rather, a big Thank you to Anne, my Trainer, at Larkrigg.
Long Live Our Furry Friends! (albeit, sometimes clipped!)

Looking forward to some more equine adventures this year, here, there, everywhere!
