Foodie Bloggie by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

Not written a food blog for a while, but I thought it apt as a 'next blog' as, take-aways for some are sometimes an extravagance, and why not reach out and dedicate such an action for a just cause?!

Ever had what felt like a really tough day?!

Ever been to spaghetti junction?!

Not the most pleasantest of experiences, however, this is:

Personally, I like to make it from scratch, rather than use a ready made sauce, but, each to their own, and it's quite different every time.  What about you?!

I'm no Delia etc. neither, but I can make decent nosh and you just can't beat a good spag bol!

Haven't had seconds in a long while also, though this is a luxury of being able to celebrate singledom, it seems.

Yum yum!

Recent Shocking News response by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

****UPDATE****

This is in the news today, an article about a charity helpline to call for support if feeling vulnerable when on your own returning home.  It wouldn't help during the day or during the week, but it could be a life-saver.  It's good to know.  Occasionally, I have been for a jog at night.

The free helpline phone number for Strut Safe is:-

0333 335 0026

(open Fri/Sat 7pm-3am and Sun 7pm-1am)

Very rarely do I get a take-away, I like to cook - I digress, but now I have, it's in style:

However, I would really, really prefer it was under alternative circumstances.

Raising a class to Ms Murphy!

As a teacher of singing/music and a musician myself, with Irish roots also, yet I am yet to visit this wonderful place, Ireland, my heart goes out to the pupils, family, friends and loved ones of someone who was evidently so talented and chose to teach and was but, just simply out exercising.

I like to run as part of my exercise regime, sometimes.

No way is it okay to be attacked because you are doing so, are female, whatever.

 Spotted Dick in Preston UK!

Okay, I thought I would release this pic. of what appears to be a dick I discovered whilst on a walk, albeit two years ago, to bring some cheer to those who find it hard at the time of new year.

Also for those who find it hard to get up in the mornings maybe this will bring you some inspiration.  I'm sure it's not just Preston that has this problem so this is for the nation.

Every pun and rhyme intended, however, seriously, as I seem to be living a life of a nun, this is just a bit of fun.
