Music/Volunteering/News
It's not all volunteering, volunteering, volunteering!
Over the last two months now I have successfully volunteered for four charities, CLIC Sargent, fundraising as a Musician with a license (fundraising-busk) and also for Action for Children - This is ongoing and I will continue this in to August.
More recently, I have landed a job as a Music Specialist volunteering for Oxfam. It will be ten years ago when I first volunteered for Oxfam, when I got a volunteer job as a Music Events Co-Ordinator for the national event, Oxjam in Preston. Preston was one of the first locations to host the Oxjam event.
I have completed my first full day at the Oxfam charity shop in Preston today, so any keen vinyl lovers or music score enthusiasts please feel free to pop in and see full bookshelves in re. to the music areas. However, I am not the only Music Specialist, so don't blame me, if what's out does not appeal to your particular taste in music/what you think's hot or not, ♭/♯!
N.b. I continue to volunteer for Age Concern in a general sense.
