At Your Service Ma'am! by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

21/04/2021

Not busking, just want to give a shout out and three cheers!

Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

This week:

First Busk Back

Now with the lockdown lifting spotting only 2 instrumental buskers on the Monday, even though I hadn't planned to start again just yet, later on in the working week, I decided to make it vocal and personally dedicate my busk and pay my respects.

Horse Sport Today by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

Congratulations Rachael Blackmore!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/horse-racing/56724115

What an inspiration for women in sport!

[See aforementioned link.]

Although personally I am not a massive fan of racing this achievement of being the first female to win such a famous race is outstanding: Well done Minella Times!

Perhaps one day I shall have my own horse:

Can anyone guess the store?!

'God Save The Queen' recording Blog by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

I was sure I had already created a blog with this recording in: 'God Save The Queen' my playing the trumpet.

Anyhow, I found it in my facebook posts and, having already played it live today a fair few times at home, I am reposting it today for the Queen:

Rest easy Prince Phillip

Hoppy Easter by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

So, Bunnylicious says: No photos, media Etc. Now she's a star!

Oh, this is My Other Pet. As in, my other car..., Fnar, fnar !

Anyways,

Happy Easter!

N.b. Captain Bunny is otherwise engaged. As in, still in hibernation. Coz, in the words of the end of a Tom Jones' song, starring/featuring Cerys Matthews,

"It's bl**dy freezin'"

**JUST IN!**

I did get a request/suggestion (same thing...) for a Captain Bunny appearance, just today.

However she told me to tell you she will be available for bookings in 2022 - You know how it is, what with this lockdown lark!

Skater Girl

This recent sunny spell is wonderful. Therefore I opted to get my upgrade in skates* out and do what turned in to a two hour sesh.. It's a good job they come with one spare stopper, anyway.

Skater Girl did good though, no less, capturing this shot, me thinks:

It reminds me of the Japanese flag. However, it is a hot air balloon.

What impresses me most about this image is how personally I can relate to it:

I have both worked in Japan and as a songwriter written a song on this theme, the latter being something I was assigned to do as part of a music course at Preston College - no, someone else can't write it, you have to, Okay then!

Anyhow, super hero Skater Girl hasn't got a selfie/portrait photo for you.

Skater Girl has ffs! in a good way!

Skater Girl is fierce, fast and ...

shy!
