Red Sky At Night! 

The Night Before Snowmas! 

On The Third Day Of Snowmas! 

The view is from either side of the bridge and of the River Ribble in Preston, Lancashire. The first photograph I took the evening before the snow whilst admiring the lovely hint of a red sky at sunset. The following pictures depict the river with snow still sticking some three days on. #beforeandafter

Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy - New Year New Me!

Piano on the platform - London

 

It was a real joy to discover this piano on a station platform recently.  (I had heard about the one gifted by Sir Elton John at St Pancras, but this is another station.  Can you guess the station?!)  

Especially, because at the end of 2017 I took a chance on playing, what is not my first instrument, the piano in public for the first time at a local shopping centre where there is a piano for anyone to play as part of the festive decorations/celebrations, and was assaulted.  Thanks to the Police and Victim Support for addressing the issue.
