Earlier on this year I decided whilst training on soft turf, that is so much kinder on the knee and hip joints to purchase these, cheap and cheerful, footie boots that support my feet more as well.

Barbie The Movie is a real feel good movie.
And, my Barbie, pictured here, the original Barbie, well she thinks it is wonderful also, naturally!
Intrigued as to why the film would be banned, as it says in the media (in a few middle Eastern countries), I decided to partake of the Barbie journey, watch the movie for myself and in true Barbie style make my own mind up so to speak.
However, as you can see I have always loved my Barbie, and never gave her up, going to watch an apparently hyped up storyline on the said theme seemed to be another kettle of fish.
Nevertheless, with an open mind and my Barbie on hand to contribute an informed opinion, ahem, I "ken" safely say I never needed to be converted! Pun intended!
[Thus said, having been fortunate enough to visit a few middle Eastern countries both on holiday and religious exploration, dare I say, possible pilgrimage invitation, before now, I have always experienced a most polite and friendly reception wherever this has occurred.]
Long live Barbie and what she always stands for!

Anyhow, here's my "memorabilia" from when I decided to do a bit of backstage research, working as as an Usherette, at this Guild Hall Theatre in my local area in Preston city UK.
Incidentally, I met both The Proclaimers, although I'm sure I didn't have to walk all that way to do so, thank you very much you good sirs for said autograph as well n all that and also Mr an what is it now Sir Bob Geldof - Got to see him perform an What a Performer he is!

**I've also performed here c. 2003! During my University study years I performed in 'Circling The Square ' produced by Penny Collinson and Simon Partridge as a Dancer and in 'Composition C' by Paul Stapleton as a Singer and Dancer. In both productions I contributed as a Choreographer as well.**
