A Blog Regarding the recent untimely passing of Sinead O'Connor By Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

I am very saddened to recently hear of the passing of the protest Singer/Artist Sinead O'Connor, God rest her soul and may she find her eternal peace in the heart of her God as there is only one God and Messengers etc. of God all shine from the same lamp.

See here for my blog I originally wrote including a video featuring and with her kind permission, Sinead O'Connor's music:-

http://handeldoesit.blogspot.com/2020/08/sophie-cox-oshaughnessy-for-my-son.html

Here is my video for my son, as mentioned, in this said blog:-

I am so grateful for all she was and stood for.

I am so sad that she did not get the support and or recognition that she deserved in her living years.

** I am so thankful that she granted me permission to utilise one of her tracks in a video I created including a dedication to my son.**

*

I am so sorry for all the suffering that she persevered.  I could relate, however to be tested beyond endurance is the severest of tests.  Thank God for Artists such as Sinead O'Connor.

////And, know this, my son, Jerome, this video (reaching out to you), still stands.////

I am about to move on, because of a Section 21. - the after life is similar to the state of pregnancy - the child in the womb grows and is yet to be born. Travel on On your spiritual journey Sinead!

Sinead O'Connor made a difference!

This is something I always aspire to achieve.

Thank You Sinead O'Connor, through ganting me your permission to use your music to support my cause as a mother, though more than this for helping me handle grief, that, through no fault of one's own, is as a result of parental alienation.

In her own, lyrical, words:

"Thank you for helping me!"

πŸ•Š️rest in peace great warrior Sinead O'ConnorπŸ•Š️

I got my first professional (paid) job at eleven years old.

This Is the Aladdin pantomime,

at The Southport Theatre, on the promenade Starring Tommy Trafford, Linda Lee Lewis and Keith Hopkins!

Here I am, as a Singer/Dancer Babe with one of the Chorus Singer/Dancers, Tracy - who became my penpal God bless her!

So, today,  I endeavour to inspire the next generation with my teaching the performance arts/Music etc. endeavours! This includes adults and children. You are never too old to learn!

It does not escape me

that my costume, in this photo, is The Preston colours: blue and white; that I have lived here, no less, in this, city, at least 22 years And at my current address, this year, also eleven years

Though to be given a section 21., and not to be at fault in receiving one, tho. to then be in a position to have to, possibly leave one's settled place (and, yet again) is, no less, yes a challenge.

Though, as always, I continue to endeavour to meet challenges throughout life, as alot of my neighbourhood friends have become like family to me now I shall not dismiss that it is becoming a difficult decision to make.

Until then, in due course, I hope to make new neighbourhood friends yet again, if and when, need be.

A Blog For The Awesome T.T. by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

Couldn't believe it...!

Though, only found out just last night.

Becos,...

Well, (due to the dreaded curse: Section 21. ...)

I am, continuing, trying to find another place to move to and keep my current job as well as maintain my sanity, at the moment.

Anyway, I am, I admit, devastated, to say the least.

What an Icon.  Though, as a survivor of domestic violence, I, personally, found Tina Turner, to be a true trail blazer, inspiration and needless to say such an amazing artist to continue to be inspired by.

Also, suffering great loss, though finding solace in practicing the seeking of peace through meditation, I, along with, the whole world, I guess, related to her.

Thank you Tina!

Also, thank you for 'strutting your stuff' up on high rigs, on stage, and giving the stagehands the said challenge.  I have always thought that So Awesome.

So, I have had this album: (see following pic )

For forever, it seems.

It has always given me solace, comfort, strength and inspired and, as I am listening to it again, right now, continues to do so.

What a trooper! What an amazing woman! What a talented artist!

Rest In Peace Tina Turner.

On your spiritual journey onwards, I wish you peace to you and yours Always.

And Thanks again!

A Blog For My Mum by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

It has come to my attention...

I don't see how the following could be offensive as or go against community guidelines.

My blog sometimes pertains to my own personal circumstances and surely my own freedom of speech, by it not being published, or taken down from my accessable blog articles is a breach of my freedom of speech.

Therefore, with the recent addition of a song in video form dedicated to my Mum also I have presented it again herefrom:

UPDATE

'For You, Mum!'

I know my Mum's watching over me.

I just thought I would share these photos from a personal and dedicated 'busk' to my Mum.

Right from a very young age my Mum always supported me: making costumes, cheering me on and encouraging me, dance, singing lessons etc..

21/05/2021 Chorley, UK

Oh, yes, I can affirm I live by a bridge -

It's not 'London Bridge', although, it might be connected to London; Move on Harry Potter train connection fiction!

In regards, to my prior post,

I am making the first, 'definitely maybe', of a series of respectful posts:

Let's Get A Move On! What! By Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy

Update

There was a comment! on my video.

Therefore, the following is my response (Heretofore, copy and pasted, for your convenience).

"Yes, Mr "Goove" Better get a Move on!

Oh, it's only 3 years on From when the issue was first raised (2019 Promises, promises)!

However, for people already given the Section 21. the recent news, if any news media is to be believed, that states Mr Gove ...

(evidently pronounced Goove To try to inspire him to pull his finger out basically Because it rythmes with move So Gosh Get a move on Goove!)

...has hope's that it will become law by the end of the year, it's no good for us!

Therefore, I propose a solution Mr Goove

Becos, the good people's, of Britain, arse is on the line

So

Get your end out

and, get it done Yesterday!"

Okay!

So today also is the religious celebration of the new King, Charles the Third

In re. to my attire, even so, I like violet, lavender and purple etc., there isn't any 'intended' message etc. meant here

However, anyway, I wish every good will to The King, following Queen Elizabeth the II - the (military) processions etc. were amazing BTW !

As a fan of the equine species, personally, I think they performed brilliantly.

And, as I attained my Level 2. in Equine Care, City and Guilds, as a result of acquiring a scholarship at Myerscough College in order to do so:

Please, at least, allow a comment:-

Anyhows, apparently, in other matters,...

in, ahem Dare I say, the dirty word, 'politics'... ?!

I'm informed, from a source, I cannot disclose, obvs., at this moment in time, the following:

Labour would be all set to ban the Section 21..

Therefore, I am showing this, coping mechanism, video: that demonstrates such:

So Help Me God

NB. (No animals were harmed in the making of this video.)

Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy: Upcoming gig in Preston UK

The Talent of Preston

I am very pleased to announce that I shall be  performing at this event (See the following link) here in Preston, a place I have made my home for more than twenty years now.

Due to an unforeseen change of circumstances in regards to my "living quarters" I have booked the most latter date so I can focus on moving house and hopefully stay in the Preston area.

I shall give you a clue though:

Put September in your diary though folks!
