Happy Mother's Day ...ETC.
Could not have planned this better even if I do say so myself, cue photograph.
Happy Mother's Day!
I've said it and I'll say it again.
Okay, so I'm a novice at the knitting lark. I'm not pretending to be anything else. "Knit one...", and 'Pearl's A Singer', yeh, I hope That's me, I know.
However okay, I created this bag, with a rainbow patterned strap way before the NHS dedication attribution I admit, and the wool 'decision', to some might look like a cellulitis appeal, 'butt' I like this wool, and I created This Bag.
Enuf said, I would like to share what made me laugh.
In times such as these, we all need one, for goodness sake.
(N.b. See the cork in the pic.)
Okay, so anyone familiar with the calendar in my pic. knows it's not this month, but, seriously, who cares, I've been buying these calendars for 2 yrs now (and I have realised I ought to have in my teens, but Hey Ho.) and I'm not racist 'or owt' as they say, here in Preston, but, March simply doesn't do it for me.

AS a a performance artist, yes sometimes I will work out at night.
On no account does this give permission for attack.

I created my first petition. However, the company doesn't do all petitions, so I have created it again with Change.org. The following link is the valid one.
Health matters and activities that enable and encourage proactive good mental health couldn't be more important right now.
Please sign THIS petition.
It's really important to me.
Thanks In Advance.
Yours Truly,
Captain Lady Valentine
I hope y'all had a happy Valentine's Day!
Here's to the next one!
(Captain) Lady Valentine at your service.
Hello!
It was snowing when I was born so I've been told and I always enjoy the snow.
I just couldn't resist creating a little bit of artwork with it today.
At least one passer by, who happened to be a neighbour, appreciated it as they called out 'hiya', though what was also brilliant was that they only saw me taking a selfie (and couldn't see the artwork)!
I hope these pics bring good cheer.

UPDATE
Urgent question in parliament today (19/01/2021):
(Although by email it was advertised asacommencing at 1pm, it starts at c.12.44pm)
https://parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/25c66f34-1e7a-4045-bd91-7e50083d25e9
I think it will be interesting to see, but more importantly for it to be advertised and accessable, the publication as many MPs are requesting. As to artists now being required to cover an extra expense for visas and work permits to tour I'd also like to see the discussions, as promised, develop, though the emphasis seems to be on clarity about it and not further negotiations so that artists are not required to pay unfortunately. However, who knows. It's interesting to see how many MPs are supporting the need for the issue to be resolved though.
