Transporter Safety A Blog By Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy
Hello Are you lookin' for me?!
Ah, well, that isn't the way we do things around here...!
Preston, Lancashire, UK Transport Safety!
Now This "me lady' is putting this Warning out Right now!
We Don't Tolerate Such!
I have every confidence in my bus drivers. They have such patience and endurance, (imho) and, in my experience!
We, the British public,... are, If you're not going to say it, I'll say it for you, I'm extremely grateful for the bus price cap via our government.
Regardless of who they are now/were before!
Ahem, the evidence:
However, this bus driver, driving, also shared "he'd be in for it". When being honest!. (Blah blah blah Any Big Company can do the "disciplinary procedure"!...)
I tell you what!
I'm not very interested in all that malarchy, at all.
So, us, that got transferred to another bus, well anyway, I really hope it was just protocol and you "didn't get done at work" mister bus driver.
I'm just glad, that from my own efforts I got to work on time, regardless.
I, me, myself and I (Oh well, I have always wanted to say that!) "would witness to it, as I was sat right at the front/you couldn't get any closer!" that something clipped the bus, whatever be it, there really wasn't anything like a lampost or anything and the bus certainly didn't feel like it was on the kerb.
I feel fortunate that it wasn't more serious.
Hmmm, however, food for thought, me thinks! Hmmmm!...

Horrific News Blog by Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy
Regarding the crossbow murders incident from yesterday, I cannot imagine the extent of pain that the recent tragedy will be.
However it is good to see the BHA and jockeys honouring and supporting by rallying around for the BBC Racing Commentator.
[Although it is horrendous news and no doubt affects exceptionally many people I would like to thank Bluebell Livery and Stud, Willowsway Stud, Larkrigg Riding School, Midgeland Riding School, Myerscough College and Eccleston Equestrian Centre for supporting me in my efforts to acquaint myself with the care of horses.]
I, personally, haven't ever been into horseracing, though as a learner I have experienced one or two horses who have tried to race with me on them!
I will never forget, as a little girl when my pet tortoise escaped and I found her racing, down the middle of the road, towards McCains' stables at the bottom of our road where I grew up.
I'm posting these photos in support of the Racing Commentator John Hunt and his family.
My thoughts are with and prayers for John Hunt and his family in their tragic loss.

An Iconic Inspiration
of mine: François Hardy
I have just heard has passed.
Here is my dedication for and to her - a recording of the song she became most famous for, I think, that I sang as part of a vigil (See the Relative Articles link for more information, below.):

Introducing... By Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy
Hello New Pup!
Ahh, if truth be told, this is a difficult blog to write,
However, here we are!
Though, there's some contingency here, so let's have it!
Basically, a rehoming opportunity occurred for this gorgeous creature.
After, a more then weeks trial,... I, even though still grieving, ultimately, decided to commit to providing a new home for said pet!
I'm not a sucker. I know how to care for and train dogs and basically he was being neglected so, I wouldn't have said no if I could!
Hmm, okay, have a ganders and enjoy!
(Please scuse... the apparent scabby shin
it's not
I have a double freckle, on a diagonal, beside the "culprit " from when I fell off my bike....
Yeh, I feel as though I'm just six years old again!)

Pets Are Us By Sophie Cox-O'Shaughnessy
Hello fellow readers,
So it is not a Very happy post this, though in the sense that in the long term it would be if the following makes sense, then, this is!
*
They are bigger than you. They always will be. This is, your forever pets, we are talking about.
Or, mainly I am and I am choosing to share with you, my (wider) audience - I say wider, bcos, it's not music or the arts or general local stories (with my artistic input) that I write for with my blog.
However, our pets are sometimes better than a call to the GP - they can become 'an emotional support pet/animal" without us even realising it.
However, even though my pet wasn't a qualified therapist I feel he has always given back twice/tenfold whatever I have supported him with.
So, naturally, when he turned into his senior years, and was still willing to keep on standing, I readily admit, although it was tremendously difficult, without a prayer or more to God there's no way I would have found the strength, "to man up", and,...
...make that decision, shall we say, sooner, rather than later, Praise be to God, and, whatever Faith, there is only One God, so, I asked the Vet (as this is the first time I have opted for this option), and as I usually always do, anyhow, please can I say a prayer (for my pet)?!
And, although, the Vet interrupted the prayer with their opinion, input, I guessed it didn't matter as at the end of the day They're The Expert, anyway, and, so I proceeded to help my pet/companion of 8 years, become to be at peace with their journey into the spiritual world, as this is what he, at least, deserves.
Thank you Mr Minsky Cooper
Good night, sweet dreams and God bless, my pet xox
